Handled network and systems infrastructure for two data centers, provided internal and external support for staff and customers, and assisted in planning and implementing upgrades and expansions. Performed on-call duties as part of a rotation between other systems administrators to provide 24/7 support for all services.

Developed and managed DNS, Network Monitoring/Management, IP Address inventory and other systems. Managed DNS, Email, Web server, and network monitoring systems for a medium sized ISP. Performed on-call duties by way of a weekly rotation schedule to provide 24×7 customer support for thousands of end users.

Freelance programming, technical support, and systems administration for small to medium business clients. Worked with clients in setting up new office networks, managing platforms, and installing new systems. Developed custom software for clients to assist with and simplify routine tasks. Built and managed multiple web, mail, DNS, and other servers for small businesses and friends along with developing the management software used for those services.

Information Systems Specialist, Cummins Mental Health Center; Avon, IN ‚ Dec. 2001 – June 2002

Performed help desk and telecom support duties along with some systems administration. Supported several sites throughout west-central Indiana. Handled new hardware upgrades and assisted in migration to new WAN and LAN setups. Primary focus on internal customer support for over 150 people.

Network and Systems Administrator, Saint Gobain Abrasives; Plainfield, IN ‚ Nov. 1999 – Dec. 2001

Responsible for all system changes, maintenance, and on and off site technical support. Developed and implemented procedures for security, backup/recovery, and maintenance. Supported in this capacity both a Plainfield, IN site, and an Ontario, CA site. Support provided for over 100 people. Wrote custom applications for various tasks including inventory control, database access, web reporting tools, and more.

Tracked and accounted for all inventory within the Indianapolis Distribution Center. Supervised 2-5 staff in the Inventory Control Department including scheduling tasks, developing procedures, and monitoring productivity. Generated and maintained all reporting for inventory control.
